Arsenic and Old Lace, written by American playwright Joseph Kesselring in 1939 and during the early onset of WWII has continued in popularity as a favorite during the Fall Season. The play is a farcical dark comedy set in Brooklyn, New York revolving around the long time established Brewster family, two sweet old aunts, and their nephews. The play references several points in history particularly around the Panama Canal and takes place some 25 years after its completion.
